Biography

Jessie Komitor is an actor, writer, director living in New York City.  She received her BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and is an Alumni of the Upright Citizens Brigade.

 

You can see Jessie play alongside Tyler LaBaine and Jason Biggs in the HULU original series​ ​DEADBEAT as well as Robert Siegel's feature CRUISE. After finding her passion for creating her own work, she choreographed and directed her short Q TRAIN CONNECTION which has garnered over 20,000 views on YouTube.  She wrote, directed and stars in her mockumentary series, PEOPLE OF NEW YORK, which has been heralded by various outlets including Entertainment Weekly, Marie Claire and People Magazine and was subsequently developed into a TV series as well as a feature with production companies in New York and LA.

 

She has had the great opportunity to write and direct her scripted narrative comedy podcast VICTORY AND BOBBIE which she stars in alongside Bridget Everett and Haley Joel Osment​​.

Most recently, Jessie wrote and directed her short film CHASING THE PARTY produced by Sam Rockwell's Play Hooky Productions. 

 

Jessie believes wholeheartedly in telling the story of the human experience, the good, the bad, the awkward. The space between what is unspoken that connects us all.
