Jessie Komitor is an actor, writer, director living in New York City.  She received her BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and is an Alumni of the Upright Citizens Brigade.

 

You can see Jessie play alongside Tyler LaBaine and Jason Biggs in the HULU original series​ ​DEADBEAT as well as Robert Siegel's feature CRUISE. After finding her passion for creating her own work, she choreographed and directed her short Q TRAIN CONNECTION which has garnered over 20,000 views on YouTube.  She wrote, directed and stars in her mockumentary series, PEOPLE OF NEW YORK, which has been heralded by various outlets including Entertainment Weekly, Marie Claire and People Magazine and was subsequently developed into a TV series as well as a feature with production companies in New York and LA.

Using her creative storytelling experience, Jessie has worked with top brands ​to help hone their own stories from conceit to vision to branding.

Most recently, Jessie has just finished cutting the pilot for a scripted narrative comedy podcast which she directed, wrote and stars in alongside Bridget Everett and Haley Joel Osmen​t​.

 

Jessie believes wholeheartedly in telling the story of the human experience, the good, the bad, the awkward. The space between what is unspoken that connects us all.
